Hi, I’m Krista.

Strategic communicator and storyteller.

I am the wife of a very talented musician who takes me around the world in pursuit of excellence. Mama to Jakob, Audrey and Ella, who just happens to have Down Syndrome.
And an aspiring disciple of Jesus, defender of the oppressed, writer, graphic designer and photographer.

I write and speak on navigating through the fog of life…you know, when things don’t go exactly as planned and am fuelled by a passion to amplify the voices of those on the margins…
oh, and coffee…lots of coffee.

I also recently did a series on the Secret Thoughts of Mother’s of Children With Disabilities. Also a good exercise which I hope encouraged many who are in the same shoes and those who aren’t.

I have been truly blessed through this blog since its inception in 2008. It has proved an amazing tool for communicating with those we love, connecting with those we need and helping me to find perspective when all I wanted to do was emotionally vomit all over my keyboard. In those times, I instead, forced myself to step back and look at a situation through the grace that God gives each of us.
