I did a little mini-shoot with the kids this morning sporting some of their new school clothes. It’s hard to believe how big they are getting. Jakob has certainly turned into a little man and his eyes tell all of his kind nature. Ella is a cheeky and yet compassionate as ever. I am so proud of her despite her lack of tolerance toward her mother when it comes to showing off her alphabet skills.
You see a couple days ago, I stupidly popped over to this blog and broke the cardinal rule – I compared Ella’s skills with the other little girls’. No parent should ever do this, and yet sometimes we do. We can’t help it, we are human. Because the reality is, while that little girl is doing great and we all should be happy for her, Ella is also doing so well. Ella excels in her own way, has her own personality and she figures, why do when she could teach. Ella LOVES to play the teacher and refuses to play my little alphabet games, number games, colour games, etc. because she would rather control the situation…or in our little satirical clip, flop over and refuse to do anything.
Anyway, on to the good stuff…caution cuteness overload.
From our family to yours: Have a spectacular weekend!
