About Me

Hi, I’m Krista.

Strategic communicator and storyteller.

I am the wife of a very talented musician who takes me around the world in pursuit of excellence. Mama to Jakob, Audrey and Ella, who just happens to have Down Syndrome.
And an aspiring disciple of Jesus, defender of the oppressed, writer, graphic designer and photographer.

I write and speak on navigating through the fog of life…you know, when things don’t go exactly as planned and am fuelled by a passion to amplify the voices of those on the margins…
oh, and coffee…lots of coffee.

There are some things that I am truly grateful for everyday…there are big things, which I will write about when I can do them justice and then there are the little things, like coffee. I know right? But it is true. It possibly is my vice, but I call coffee liquid hope. It is what gets me out of bed in the morning, its an excuse to meet with friends, it is a buffer for tough conversations and a comfort in cold times. Coffee. It’s cheap, it’s legal, and when you can only have one cup a day it makes you truly grateful.
